Patent Application Completed for [GIS Switchgear Viewing System]
On December 26, 2023, we completed the patent application for the [GIS Switchgear Viewing System]. The ES/DS of GIS has a sealed structure, making it impossible to visually confirm operation. If the on/off status is incorrectly verified, it can lead to major accidents when malfunctions or failures occur in the drive mechanism of the disconnectors and grounding switches. ISAAC-PDS-VMU is installed in the inspection window of the ES/DS in GIS, allowing real-time monitoring of the disconnector and grounding switch status. Inspectors can visually verify the normal operation of the OPEN/CLOSE actions through the camera, preventing potential accidents caused by internal defects or malfunctions in the ES/DS.
